Opening October 6th, bookmarc by Marc Jacobs will hold a group exhibition featuring three up-and-coming international artists, Hikari Shimoda (Japan), Rodolfo Loaiza (Mexico), and RYOL (Indonesia), who are highly acclaimed in the world of Pop Art and Lowbrow Art.

This time, Hikari Shimoda's five works entitled "About All the Phenomena in This World", Rodolfo Loaiza's three works entitled "Ateliers", five works of RYOL’s entitled "Rainbow” will be exhibited together. In addition, Rodolfo Loaiza and RYOL will be exhibiting for the first time in Japan. An opening reception with Hikari Shimoda in attendance will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 6th.

Hikari's contribution, “About All the Phenomena in This World”, contains two new series entitled "I Don’t Want to See/Look", "Speak/Don't Speak" and “All About the Same World”. The series speculate on modern perceptions of society as told through a variety of materials that include newsprint, oil and acrylic.
