Hikari has a new painting in Beautiful Bizarre Magazine's curated group show, Halcyon Days, opening this weekend at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco. There will be an opening reception for the show on Saturday, November 5th, 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

About her painting, the third in her new "Defense" series, Hikari shares: "Living in the modern age also means being hurt by various events. It can be a virus, too much information, or a relationship with a person. To protect ourselves from them, we defend ourselves with various things."
