Hong Kong based gallery Over the Influence is in New York organizing their debut pop-up exhibition. Hikari's painting "Epic Annihilation" will be on view, alongside artists like Invader, Cleon Peterson, and Vhils.
Hikari has a piece in WOW x WOW's inaugural group show for the publication's new online gallery, launching tomorrow! The show title, Lightning Bolts & Little Sparks, is a metaphorical reference to both the ‘eureka’ moments and the smaller inspirational steps forward that are experienced by every artist; all of which are significant and of relevance to the continual growth and development of the true artistic voice of each creative individual.
Hikari recently teamed up with Milk Magazine's 'I Love Up-cycling' campaign in China. I Love Up-cycling is a project that encourages people to DIY and "up-cycle" their used clothing items.
Hikari's art will be on view at CONTEXT New York this week, with two new paintings from her "Whereabouts of God" series. Her work will be on display over at Corey Helford Gallery booth# C206. The paintings first debuted in Hikari's exhibition at the gallery earlier this year, "Memento Mori".
